Each OTP is valid for a limited time and single use only
You must not share OTP codes with any other person
Three consecutive failed OTP attempts temporarily lock the account (30 minutes)
Lost phone? Contact your school admin to update your registered number
All login sessions are logged with timestamp, device type, and IP address
Sessions expire after 24 hours of inactivity (configurable by school admin)
Multi-device login is permitted — each device receives independent OTP

4. Runtime QR Code Terms

Core verification technology

How Runtime QR Works

Runtime QR codes are dynamically generated on the user's device, contain a cryptographic timestamp, and are validated server-side. Each QR code expires within seconds and cannot be reused, screenshotted, photographed, or cloned for use by another person.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that Runtime QR codes are the primary method of identity verification and agree to present your QR code when requested by authorized staff.

You Agree That:

Runtime QR codes are for your personal use only and must not be shared
Screenshots or photographs of QR codes are invalid and constitute misuse
Attempting to clone, reverse-engineer, or forge QR codes is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination
QR codes require an active internet connection on the scanning device (Staff app)
GlobalIDPRO is not liable for verification delays caused by network issues
Expired QR codes cannot be used — you must generate a fresh code each time

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You Must NOT:

Share your OTP codes or Runtime QR with unauthorized persons
Screenshot, photograph, or screen-record Runtime QR codes for sharing
Attempt to forge, clone, or duplicate digital IDs or QR codes
Use another person's account, OTP, or Digital ID
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Platform or its APIs
Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
Access data of students, parents, or staff outside your authorized role
Use the Platform for any purpose other than identity verification
Sell, resell, or sublicense access to the Platform
Interfere with Platform security features, rate limits, or encryption
Use automated tools to scrape, extract, or harvest data from the Platform
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through the Platform

You MUST:

Use the Platform only for its intended purpose — identity verification
Keep your registered mobile number current and secure
Present your Runtime QR code when requested by authorized staff
Report lost/stolen phones to your school admin immediately
Comply with your school's identity verification policies
Respect the privacy of other users' data visible through the Platform
Follow visitor check-in/check-out procedures when visiting a school
Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable local laws
Notify us of any security vulnerabilities you discover (responsible disclosure)
Accept that verification decisions are final and logged for audit purposes
Cooperate with security investigations if requested by school or authorities
Keep your app updated to the latest version for security patches
